This morning I started taking Tricor instead of Lopid, should I be getting dizzy so soon?

Published on: January 25, 2012

I feel a little much more light headed these days. Could a single dose of Tricor make me really feel dizzy?

Shifting any medicine can give you signs. These are usually temporary and go away in a couple of days. Due to the fact you are feeling lightheaded and dizzy, be mindful of modifying your place from sitting to standing much more gradually before you commence to walk so that you do not fall. If, soon after many days the signs and symptoms carry on, talk with your medical doctor.

Dizziness has not been talked about as a side impact but the possibility is there. Hope it will go away on continuing the treatment.
“What are the feasible side results of fenofibrate?-
Rarely, therapy with fenofibrate has been connected with a critical side impact affecting the muscle tissue. Contact your doctor immediately if you expertise uncommon or unexplained muscle discomfort, tenderness, or weakness particularly if accompanied by fever or a “flulike” feeling.
If you knowledge any of the following significant side results, stop taking fenofibrate and make contact with your medical doctor or seek out medical focus:
an allergic response (trouble breathing closing of the throat swelling of the lips, tongue, or face or hives)
serious stomach discomfort, nausea, or vomiting
fever.
Other, significantly less critical side effects might be far more most likely to take place. Continue to take fenofibrate and talk to your physician if you encounter
joint pain
indigestion
bloating or flatulence or
a rash.
Side results other than those listed here may also take place. Talk to your doctor about any side impact that looks uncommon or that is especially bothersome.”
